The quiet Beatle. The one who wrote Old Brown Shoe, Taxman, Something, and What is Life? to name just a few. The one who organized the first benefit concert to fight hunger in a third world country. The one who incorporated the sitar into pop music and introduced Ravi Shankar to America. Another Day the Music Died.

Was he the walrus?

I sure remember well where I was when he was gunned down..

at work, in a nursing home in St. Paul.

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

I always liked his guitar playing. A little Carl Perkins, a little Buddy Holly. It was simple by today's standards, but it always added something special to each beatle song. I think my favorite guitar lead on any Beatle song was on Let It Be.

Thanks Iconoclast. Thanks for returning an old smile to this old face.
