In the movie "Clueless", Cher (Alicia Silverstone) says, "Even if they took out all the violent shows, people could still see the news."
I agree.
The violence in TV shows and movies is phony. Phony weapons, phony blood, phony dead bodies.
The violence on the news is real. Real weapons, real blood, real dead bodies.
Which is more disturbing?
