It seems he asked for an attorney, but the police didn't get him one and kept on questioning him.

This kind of thing could spare his life. Kind of the same thing you are saying. I just look dubiously on the 'go free' part.

Yep, that's what I'm saying. And, I highly doubt that he's going to walk away. Just don't see it happening. But.....now that this confession may be inadmissible, that remote possibility comes into play.

I have heard the John couey has been released, please let me know if this is true? If true why???

No, his trial is set for February. Also, there was an article a week or two back that said authorities are under the impression this isn't his firt time at this sort of crime.

I agree with those who say that there is overwhelming evidence that this particular flavor of air thief is guilty.

However, there are too many times that the cops do mess up and killers, rapists and child molestors go free. What should happen to reduce the chances of this happening, all defendants who go free because of such technicalities should be housed at home of the offending cop, the attorney that got him or her off, and the judge, for 1 month each. That would make each think about what they are really releasing back to the streets.

What if the cop, attorney or judge has young children?

I think they should be executed as soon as it's obvious that they're guilty.

More incentive to not make stupid mistakes for which there is not excuse like not bringing in a lawyer. ;~D
