When They Slaughter People For No Good Reason
Published on November 28, 2006 By Ionolast In Current Events
The recent shooting of three black men in Queens, New York by five cops has ignited outrage from the families and community leaders. Leo Terrell (I'm not sure about that last name) was on MSNBC this morning, and man, was he pissed, and rightly so. Here are two of his comments:

"Every time black people are shot by police, somehow it's always justified."

"Prosecutors need police, so they don't prosecute police."

Mayor Bloomberg has called the use of force "excessive."

It's been reported that the police believed the men may have been armed. Rev. Al Sharpton said, "Policy should not be made based on an officer's imagination."

There is no evidence that they were armed or that they were doing anything wrong.

One officer fired 31 out of 50 something shots, which means he had to reload.

It's also been reported that the men were trying to run down the officers with their car. Even if that's true, it shouldn't require 50 shots.

Bloomberg rejected claims that the incident was racially motivated, citing an NYPD policy against ethnic profiling.

Many black leaders have said the victims, all African-American, were unjustly targeted because of their race.

"There's no evidence that race had anything to do with it," Bloomberg said. "The police officers were as diverse as the people in the car."

So what? Hasn't he heard of black on black crime?

I know someone is going to say I shouldn't base my opinion on the actions of a few. To that I say, "A FEW??" Meaning all incidents in which black people have been beaten or shot by police, not just this one.

If those pigs are aquitted, I wouldn't blame the black community one bit if they rioted, and I hope they slaughter a few pigs.

And this statement makes you a sick shit. You don't know any more of the specifics than anyone else and yet you have not only condemned the police but are hoping for some of them to be murdered. You really need medication.

And this statement makes you a sick shit.

I'm also a heretic.

The number of shots fired at one target makes me really suspicious on this one.  I mean, I went in to Iraq with 120 rounds for an M-16.  50 rounds for a side arm is one huge amount.

Sharpton is a pig who wouldn't have given a crap about this shooting if he coudn't make a buck off it, so anything he has to say should end with rim shots.

The sad thing about all of it is, the cops won't get a fair hearing from either side (fair meaning a hearing that either justifies or convicts them).  THey are already convicted in the (kangaroo) court of public opinion.

Next time you need law enforcement, call a criminal.

I thought this was going to be about bacon. I'm very disappointed.

I'm not surprised though - all your cops ever seem to do is shoot black people. I've seen your reality TV shows like COPS and world's most hilarious deaths. It seems to be a national sport.

No, but I think I've been pretty fair.

I've been pissed at him before, but surely he can't always be wrong.

There was nothing fair about what they did, but it would be very sad if that's what gets them aquitted.

Next time you need law enforcement, call a criminal.

Might as well.

world's most hilarious deaths.

You changed the title, right? Do you mean World's Most Amazing Videos?

Open season.

You would have uninvolved officers slaughtered during rioting?

Yes, because they stick up for each other.

If they are aquitted after recieving a "fair hearing" you've still sentence them to death? Maybe because somewhere, sometime, some other cops were guilty of malicious shooting?

Damn right.

I suppose you wouldn't find it morally reprehensible for me to come cut your throat because my ex-husband assaulted me repeatedly in the past. After all, you're a male, aren't ya?

No, because I wouldn't stick up for your ex-husband.

On second thought, maybe I would. Maybe you deserved it.

I guess it's only black people who get to be innocent until proven guilty, huh, icono? I'll be the first to admit the initial incident appears to be pretty outrageous, but it's not an acceptable solution to call open season on police officers. It's pretty ironic that many liberals want to ban private ownership of guns, yet want to kill law enforcement with the guns those citizens aren't supposed to have in their utopian vision, or better still, remove all authority from that law enforcement and give complete power to the thugs.

Think this one through a second, icono, and put aside your hatred for the action. There's no disagreement that the action on the surface appears to be pretty heinous, so set it aside and be objective for a second. Ask yourself whether this type of society is really one you would prefer.

come on, icon...even you need to admit THAT comment was over the line.

Why don't we keep the debate on the topic instead of each other?

In this case, as in many others, it was the other way around.

Apparently, police need to be hit over the head before they learn that people are fed up. I suppose there are some good cops, but the things they're taught and trained to do make it likely that any of them are capable of doing this sort of thing. I'm tired of the idea that killing cops is worse than killing anyone else. As if the cops are gods. Maybe that's a main part of the problem. Thanks to that idea, they believe they're gods.

Ideally, the cops responsible would be the ones slaughtered, but that's not very likely.

There were multiple offers. One fired 31 of the 50 shots. Standard PO magazines hold 15 rounds + 1 round chambered. He emptied his handgun of 16 rounds, reloaded a second clip, and emptied it after 15 rounds, for a total of 31.

Update:

NEW YORK — The man gunned down in a spray of 50 police bullets on his wedding day was buried Saturday as hundreds of angry demonstrators honored him with a moment of silence before going jaw-to-jaw with police in a bitter confrontation outside a Queens precinct house. The demonstrators taunted police, standing just inches away from a row of officers and daring the police to lay a hand on them. Some in the crowd held signs reading "Death to the pigs" and "Shoot back.""Fifty shots from the New York cops!" the crowd chanted before the moment of silence."We didn't come here to start any violence," said Malik Zulu Shabazz, a black nationalist leader. "The New York police started the violence."Starr Nelson, a Queens woman in the crowd with two sons in their 20s, said relations between the police and local residents were antagonistic even before the shooting."It could have been my son," she said. "(The police) need to start seeing people as people, not animals. You don't even shoot at an animal 50 times."

Hmmm....let's see....I'd slaughter a pig when I feel like having some nice BBQ pork ribs, fried or broiled chops.....maybe a ham or two. Oh yeah....and sausage and bacon; gotta love the way sausage and bacon smells as it's cooking. Especially bacon.

Another time when it's especially good to slaughter a pig is when it's hanging directly over a bunch of handcuffed and shackled Muslim extremeists.

Oh...you mean COPS!
So sorry....well....Al Sharpton's involved, so I'm sure Tawana Brawley's brutal rape is foremost in his mind as he addresses this new problem.

And let us not forget Rodney "can't we all just get along" King....the video of whose beating by LA police caused such a stir because said cops were let off the hook by a jury.
A jury which had the opprotunity to see the WHOLE video, rather than the rather....ahem....abridged one shown by the networks. The one in which a drug-addled King was shown violently resisting arrest.
But hey.... this new case...jus' anutha buncha bruthas bein' kep' down by da Man, right?

I'll wait until a jury tells me whether or not they're guilty before I actually pass any personal judgement, thanks.
But then....we all know that blacks as a people are all completely innocent, by simple virtue of the fact that hey.....they're black!

A friend of mine's son said he wants to be a cop. I told him he was crazy and that he should consider being a fireman instead because everybody loves a fireman.
